Once you read you\’ll be done for a lifetime!

Well I finally crossed over to the dark side of the internet, and will attempt….attempt to try and blog for the sake of others wanting to dig into my life a bit more :P .

This week was fairly uneventful, I think the highlight was actually last weeks Kids5B concert. Robie Bloch, MichelleD Ecksol, and Moondoggirl, are now on the top of my list for artists I love. They really know how to get a crowd going and make even a 1 hour show really awesome.

I have actually the show to thank for this weeks idea for the MnK show. I met a girl named Danialla there who is putting out an effort to try and reform the Girl Scouts in SL, so make sure you listen to July 4th’s show to hear about it. I think for someone who doesn’t have a lot of experience in this, she is doing an awesome job and I am definitely going to give her my full support for as long as she chooses to continue.

My first life continues to remain hectic and stress filled as I struggle to get enough hours at my job to pay all my bills. My brothers have been nothing but supportive of me and its that which helps me push forward and struggle out of the rut I am in. I really need to push forward and attempt to get back in school this fall for both educational and financial sake…. that or win the lottery that I never play ^^;; Sometimes it makes me wonder if this is what things are going to be like for the rest of my life or if there is a silver lining waiting for me to see it that’s going to give me that exciting and less stressful life I keep dreaming of, where things like bills and debt are just chores rather than things that make my life extremely stressful. Either way, all I can do is continue to push forward regardless of how hard things get for me, cause its when you stop struggling that you stop living and just become another casualty of society and another statistic.

As far as SL is concerned, The MnK show continues to be my one and only project I have time for, but maybe something else will come up that I will feel like I can support. Its been a fun adventure so far and I can’t believe this week is already our 12th show. I have learned so many things since I started this, about the community, friends, and groups, and it makes me excited for the future. I hope that the show as well as the radio network will continue to grow and expand as interest increases and kids step up to have their time in the spotlight. Look what happened with SL5B and its result of Kids5B, where we stood up and were heard loud and clear by LL. I have never been so proud of the community as I was for this project. So Good Job Guys! and Keep up the good fight!

till next time
